Biography

Falah is the Director of the Babylon Site Museum. As an Archaeologist, he has been involved in several excavations in Iraq, and he has also delivered many lectures and written and contributed to books. His research in Babylonian studies has included his involvement in a revival project of the Babylon city, where he classified, documented and organised the library.

At the British Museum

During his time on the International Training Programme in 2011, Falah was based in the Middle East Department and his partner placement was spent at National Museum of Wales.

In 2011 participants were asked to develop a proposal for a small temporary exhibition using an object from the British Museum’s collections. Falah’s exhibition project proposal was entitled Handling archaeological objects: from the field to the museum.
