Feras Aqel

Biography

Feras graduated from Birzeit University as a double-major in Archaeology and History in 1997. In 1998 he joined the staff at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and then became Director of the Museum Department of the Central Government of Palestine in 2006.

At the British Museum
During his time on the International Training Programme in 2013, Feras was based in the Middle East Department, and her partner placement was spent at Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives.

Feras’ exhibition project proposal was entitled Skull Cult in Jericho.
