Qahtan Al-Abeed

Biography

Qahtan currently works as Director of the Basrah Museum of Antiquities and Heritage.

At the British Museum
During his time on the International Training Programme in 2010, Qahtan was based in the Department of Middle East and his partner placement was spent at The Collection – Art and Archaeology in Lincolnshire.

Qahtan’s exhibition project proposal was entitled Lyre of Ur.
