ITP 2013: September 4 – Dong Mei
We have been here for almost a month. How time flies!
Our departmental time today was to listen to the preparation process of the upcoming Ming Exhibition(2014) by curator Jessica Harrison-Hall. This was the first time for us to understand the standard preparation procedure of a BM temporary exhibition, which usually takes 3 or 5 years. One thing particular about this one is that it would be borrowing objects from 10 Chinese museums, which makes it much more complicated and time-consuming. Imagine how much communication and coordination it would take! I sincerely hope everything will go smoothly in the future.
Aldwych Theatre
The highlight for today is that we went to watch the musical Top Hat at night! For whom you missed it, it surely is a huge pity. The show was really good and interesting. I really love that Italian guy! We all had a great night.
