Caitlin Noble

International Training Programme Assistant

I am the International Training Programme’s Assistant – assisting in the planning and delivery of the ITP’s Annual Programme and Legacy Projects.  I also support the programme logistics, events and communications.

I joined the ITP team in 2025, after graduating from Birkbeck, University of London, with an MA in Art History and Curating. My postgraduate studies broadened my understanding of how art and culture exist in wider social and historical contexts, and the vitality of cultural institutions in shaping conversations and making knowledge accessible. While at university, my research centred on 18th Century British paintings and the use of the ‘picturesque’ – exploring how the visual language of paintings underpinned and maintained colonial narratives within art history.

Before joining the ITP team, I worked with inIVA (The Institute of International Visual Arts) as a Curatorial/Programme Assistant. Within this role I supported new and ongoing projects, whilst also contributing to research for early-stage projects. Additionally, I was selected as a member of the 2024 British Museum Youth Collective, through which I collaborated with peers on several events aimed at engaging younger and more diverse audiences.
