Fatma is a curator at The Egyptian Museum in Cairo. She has completed an MA and her thesis focused on the 13th Dynasty, Archaeology and Historical Study. She is also interested in Classical and Hellenistic ceramics.

At the British Museum
During her time on the International Training Programme in 2007, Fatma was based in the Department of Egypt & Sudan and her partner placement was spent at Glasgow Museums.

Legacy Projects
In March 2010 Fatma attended the Cairo Conference Towards a global network where she presented a paper on what she had gained, both professionally and personally, from attending the ITP and her career development since the programme.
