Biography

Mehmet works as a specialist in the Department of Anthropology at the Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum. He has a PhD on Milas Prehistoric pottery from Ankara University.

At the British Museum

During his time on the International Training Programme in 2007, Mehmet was based in the Department of Greece & Rome and his partner placement was spent at the Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums, Newcastle.

Legacy Projects

In March 2010 Mehmet attended the Cairo Conference Towards a global network where he presented a paper on what he had gained, both professionally and personally, from attending the ITP and his career development since the programme.
