Salminah Tshabalala

Biography

Salminah is the Principal Museum Human Scientist at the Baberton Museum in Barberton, South Africa. She previously worked as an Assistant Director, for the Archives of the Mpumalanga Provincial Government.

At the British Museum
During her time on the International Training Programme in 2007, Saliminah was based in the Department of Africa, Oceania and the Americas and her partner placement was spent at the Manchester Museum and Manchester Art Gallery.

Salminah’s participation on the International Training Programme in 2008 was generously supported through a partnership between the Department for Culture Media and Sport (UK) and the Department of Arts and Culture (RSA).
