Biography

Penglun majored in archaeology and works for Art Exhibitions China (AEC). He works on exhibitions from conception including logistical work such as budgeting and negotiating with lenders. He is interested in Chinese porcelain, jade ware, and incense culture.

At the British Museum
During his time on the International Training Programme in 2012, Penglun Dai was based in the Asia Department and his partner placement was spent at National Museum Wales.

In 2012 an element of the programme was a series of presentations, in which groups of participants presented a 10-minute illustrated talk, prompted by the task to consider a new display at the British Museum.  Penglun’s exhibition project proposal was entitled Bad News, Good Gods.
