Introducing the 2010 participants: Pengbo Ding

Hello, I’m Pengbo Ding. I have been engaged in the research of ceramics archeology for over ten years.  Currently I work at the Academic Research Center of the National Museum of China, primarily as an editor of the Journal of National Museum of China

My area of expertise is the study of Chinese porcelain relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties.  However my daily work involves reading and editing all kinds of articles from across the country, and even overseas.  Most of these articles relate to cultural relics and many involve conservation and science laboratories, exhibitions planning, collections documentation and so on.

This photo was taken in October 2004, at the Ming and Qing Imperial Kiln archaeological site in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province.
