ITP 2013 : September 13 – Buket Coşkuner

Today is our third day in Manchester and I still couldn’t find time to see the city, other than the Manchester Museum and the way between our hotel and the museum. Luckily enough our morning session was cancelled and I found a chance to see the city center and a few art galleries. From the short morning tour I had the impression that Manchester is a lovely gay-friendly city full of contemporary art activities .

The afternoon session was at the Conservation Department. Since Manchester Museum was also a natural history museum there are many stuffed animals which I do not like but it was another experience for me to inspect closely how they preserve stuffed animals and bugs .
