Some of the ideas discussed looked at staff needing to be:-

  • Diverse
  • Flexible
  • Well-rounded and knowledgeable of other cultural sectors
  • Job sharers
  • Having good language skills
  • Project managers
  • Fundraisers
  • ‘Media savvy’
  • Publishers
  • International networkers
  • Confident
  • Enterprising
  • Risk-takers (who are willing to try, fail and try again)
  • Bold, uninhibited
  • Fearless

Perhaps a daunting list of skills – are you ready????
