ITP Diary 2014 : Marine Mkrtchyan

Hi Everyone,
My name is Marine Mkrtchyan. I am from Armenia, Yerevan. I am responsible for the collection of the Russian Art museum. This is the first time for Armenia in ITP and I am very proud of it.

I arrived on the 3rd of August to London Heathrow airport where I first met Mr. Rupert Chapman from Middle East Department at the British Museum. It was very exciting to meet Mr. Neil MacGregor, the Director of the British Museum on our first day of the program and all the wonderful people we were in touch before arrival (Claire, Emma, Jana and others).
Yesterday we had a wonderful and interactive excursion led by Kusuma Barnett who formerly was responsible for volunteers. Finally we listened to very interesting and informative presentations from the other ITP participants from around the world.

At the end of the day we had a great reception.
The International Training Program is GREAT.
