ITP Summer Programme 2018 – Egyptian Fellows

The British Museum is delighted to offer two fully-funded training positions for museum and heritage professionals working for the Ministry of Antiquities in Egypt.
The International Training Programme is aimed at those looking to increase their knowledge of museum practices and share skills across the sector, while having the opportunity work with specialists relevant to their personal interests and roles.
Those wishing to apply should be:
-Early to mid-career museum or heritage professionals.
-Have good spoken and written English.
-Dedicated to a career in the heritage sector.
-Working for the Ministry of Antiquities.
-Have a clearly defined plan of how they should use their six weeks in the UK to further develop their own skills and their role in their institutions.
-Have a desire to work internationally or to learn about culture and heritage around the world through interaction with a diverse group of colleagues.

ITP Senior Fellow 2018

Programme Dates: Sunday 24 June – Saturday 25 August
Having participated in the Summer Programme previously, you will provide fellows of 2018 with knowledge of the course, London and our UK partner museums. The role offers the opportunity to gain further training in the delivery and development of skills-sharing programmes, to reconnect with BM and UK partner colleagues and to make new connections across our global network. You will be an invaluable member of the ITP team, helping with the logistics and development of the Summer Programme, offering ideas for our legacy and sustainability projects, and providing support to the ITP team and fellows during the summer.
