WPI students begin project work at the British Museum

Greetings ITP Network!

Edward, Ryan, Jess, and Sarah are here! We all arrived in London last week, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts. We went on a scavenger hunt to explore a list of key attractions across the city. Since we were exploring London in our group of four, we needed a camera-man, hence Ryan didn’t make a few of our photos. Along the scavenger hunt we saw the Millennium Bridge, the Shard, the London Eye and many more great sights! If you have any fun places you remember from your time here we would love to hear about them. Feel free to leave us suggestions in the comments below about great places to visit.

As fun as it has been getting to see the city, we are just as excited to get to work and meet some of you. We began working with the British Museum on Monday. Throughout this week, we have begun to review some the results of the survey that the ITP team sent out. We got some excellent responses from you and will be in touch with some of you with follow up questions. We are looking forward to receiving more responses over the coming days.

We will be working with Claire, Becca and Jess for the next six weeks. They’ve pointed out a few developments within the ITP for us to consider. Throughout our time at the British Museum, we will be reviewing and analyzing the survey data, implementing changes to the WordPress Blog, and potentially asking further questions.

In addition to the work we will be doing on the programme, we hope to explore other museums in the area with our research, and hopefully upload some of the pictures for them here. If you haven’t had the opportunity to fill out the survey yet, please do so!

We look forward to exploring London and getting to know everyone in the ITP network!
