Applications for Senior Fellow 2024 are open!

We’re pleased to announce that applications for the 2024 ITP Senior Fellow are now open!

The role of Senior Fellow is taken on by a former ITP fellow to help facilitate the annual summer programme. Having participated in the annual programme yourself, you will provide the 2024 fellows with knowledge of the course, of London and of our UK partner museums.

The role offers the opportunity to gain further experience in the delivery and development of skills-sharing programmes, to reconnect with BM and UK partner colleagues, and to make new connections across our global network.

As the 11th Senior Fellow, you’ll be an invaluable member of the ITP team, helping with the logistics and development of the programme, offering ideas for our legacy projects, and providing support to the team and fellows during the programme.

As part of the programme, you will be asked to develop and deliver a workshop for the 2024 fellows. This will be based on your own profile and professional interests, and you will be supported by the ITP team and BM colleagues as needed.

Returning to the UK and becoming a member of the core ITP team at the British Museum was a completely new experience. Learning was one component, nevertheless it was really about connecting with people I had met before, discovering new ideas, and discussing common practises. The programme provided me an opportunity for more meaningful dialogue, engagement, and exploration of future collaborations.
