ITP Newsletter 2025 is out now!
We are delighted to be releasing the 12th issue of the ITP Newsletter!
The theme for this year’s newsletter is ‘Accessibility and inclusion’, chosen and developed by ITP Senior Fellow 2024, Yanoa Pomalima Carrasco (Peru, ITP 2022, Senior Fellow 2024).

The newsletter explores how cultural institutions should be welcoming environments where communities feel represented and valued. It takes a look across the global network at how museums, galleries and institutions are exploring new ways to implement programmes, activities and guidelines to promote social justice, address exclusion and develop accessibility resources.
We asked the network to consider their past experiences and current projects in their institutions which have responded to issues of accessibility in the cultural sector. In what ways are institutions committed to diversity and inclusion; how is this being integrated into galleries and display; what are organisations doing to bring about change?
As well as articles on this year’s theme, we share some updates on what’s been happening in institutions around the world, and details from our alumni’s personal and professional updates.
Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this year’s newsletter – particularly to Yanoa for developing this theme and co-editing. We hope you enjoy reading our network’s responses to ‘accessibility and inclusion’ in museum sectors around the world.
