National Museum of Colombia

The National Museum of Colombia (Museo Nacional de Colombia) was created in 1823 and is one of the oldest in America.  It offers its visitors seventeen permanent exhibition halls, in which around 2,500 works and objects, symbols of national history and heritage, are displayed. In its calendar of temporary exhibitions, the Museum presents national and international history, art and archaeology exhibits. (Museo Nacional de Colombia).
