ICOM PROJECTS 2026 Call for Project Proposals

ICOM Projects 2026 invite members of the ICOM community to showcase their innovative and impactful projects. Through this scheme, ICOM is ready to fund up to 75% of the project total budget, with a maximum grant of 20,000 euros.

To be eligible, among other conditions, projects must secure another confirmed funding source and should be finalized before December 31, 2027, for one-year projects, and before December 31, 2028, for two-year projects.

Through this call for proposals, applicants can request funding for:

  • Publications
  • Trainings
  • Research
  • Annual Conferences and publication of proceedings
  • Museum assessments, protection and safety
  • Sustainable practices in museums
  • Other projects

ICOM encourages all its National Committees (NCs), International Committees (ICs), Regional Alliances (RAs), and Affiliated Organizations (AOs) to submit their project proposals.
