Call for Proposals: ICOM UK Conference 2027

ICOM UK are inviting proposals for presentations, workshops and poster sessions for their 2027 conference, “Gwydnwch/Resilience: Museums Adapting to Change in a Complex World,” taking place 29–30 April 2027 at National Museum Cardiff.

The conference is co-produced in partnership with Ngaire Blankenberg, Founding Director of the Institute for Creative Repair.

ICOM UK want to hear from people directly involved in developing, delivering or evaluating work that demonstrates how museums build resilience and adapt to change, including honest reflections on what did not go as planned.

Proposals from around the world are welcomed, and if your proposal is successful, ICOM UK are able to provide support towards travel expenses to help you attend and present in person.

📅 Deadline: 9am BST, Monday 2 November 2026
